Just ended a conference chat with the nuts.

We went for a dinner at Swensens just now to celebrate Yumin and my bdaes in advance. We also agreed to call Yumin...the Bdae Ger at 12 pm sharp tonight and shout Happy Birthday in her ears. In the end, some of us were slightly late and our wishes were not in unison at all.

Nvm larh..its the thought that counts..isnt it?

Besides, the 6 of us still managed to sing her a birthday song together k (although Yumin commented that we were not harmonious at all). Tink she must be real touched...right Yumin?

The rest of the chat was about planning for Nutzie outings, gatherings and all during our December vacation.

Oh ya...Nutzie is our group name for the 7 of us, 7 great friends who have known one another since Sec 1. I will introduce the members one by one, and also our Swensens dinner probably in the next entry when Karen sends me the tonnes of pictures we took today. So, stay tuned!

Back to our conversation, I know it is quite redundant to plan our December gatherings so early...as early as more than one month ahead. But since both Yumin and Renee had finished their A'levels and would be very free all the way until next year's August, of cos they are trying to plan as many outings as possible.

Renee wants a trip to Night Safari.
Yumin wants a boardgaming session at Mind Cafe.
While Joleen, Karen, Caiying, Yumin and me are hoping for a Kboxing session.
As for Sharon, I assume she will be coming for every trip with us! haha...

Although all the outings mentioned above will only be carried out during next month, I will be extremely looking forward to them certainly!

Now...im going to blog about my date with Dear on Saturday which I promised in the previous entry.

Earlier that day, I went for a project discussion with UCCD group members. As usual, I was late.

WHY???

As obvious as it is, I overslept, accidentally.

Anyway, after the discussion, Dear came to The Cathay to look for me. Initially, I thought we were heading for Far East to have Chicken Rice for dinner. Little did I expect that he was actually planning to bring me to PS' Couple Lab and get a pair of couple rings for us, as my bdae gift! Dear explained to me that he had to tell me as he needed my finger size for the ring. Glad that he told me beforehand, or else I would not have the chance to choose the design myself. Haha!

By that time, we had already reached Couple Lab's doorstep and I had started to browse through the different designs of the couple rings.

In the end, we decided on a pair of rings which were made of silver and sand matte material. There was a tiny hole, carved in the shape of the heart on each ring, whereas our names were engraved on both sides of the heart-shaped hole.

Therefore, Dear's ring sounds like this:

Kitty Loves (heart) Jackson

While, mine sounds this way:

Jackson Loves (heart) Kitty

Our hands, with the rings on our 4th fingers. So sweeett !!! I will try to take a close-up picture of the rings and post them on this blog, provided I have the chance to do so.

The paper bag from Couple Lab...and the two bears are cases for putting the rings. Each of them is charged at 3 bucks. Arent they simply adorable? =)

When I spotted these bear cases, I was immediately amazed by them. There were other designs such as beetles, roses and also heart-shaped boxes too! Dear suggested that he take the white bear while I take the red one. Instantly, I agreed. So, we bought the 2 bears when we went back to collect our rings. Ain't he sweet? Haha =P

This is how it looks like when the rings are kept inside the bear cases.

This is a Christmas tree, full of pretty lightings taken at one of the entrances of Central shopping mall at Clarke Quay.

The 2 lovers, posing in front of the lovely Christmas tree.

After that, Dear sent me home and on the bus journey, I kept looking at the ring, worn happily and blissfully on my 4th finger. And whenever I accidentally touched something, I would immediately take a look at my ring to see if it is intact. I understand that im being abit paranoid, but I know my heart will really pain if the ring is damaged in any way.

This explains how much I love and adore my first bdae gift, given to me by Dear on this year's bdae.

Dear...
I promise that I will cherish and treasure the ring forever.
I promise that I will always keep it preciously by my side.
I promise that I will try all my best to maintain its condition, by preventing it from scratches, stains and all.
Sincerely, I hope that even 10 years, 20 or 30 years from now, even when our rings are really damaged as time passes by, they will still remain as new as the first moment when we put them on, in our hearts.

Just like our relationship...as new as
the first day when we were officially attached to each other.
I promise.

Gtg...8 am lesson tmr. Really hope that I wont be late...once again.

Nitez peeps =)
