BD Presentation was GREAT!!!

The flow of our presentation was smooth. Presentors presented their slides well, while the Q&A panel answered the questions well too.

Ben Cho commended that Jaja and i were able to handle the questions thrown at us coolly and calmlyyyyyyyyyyyyy. He gave me 79 for my individual marks.
Phew! The scary part is finally over.

Now for the report, i believe that we will have to chiong over the weekends =(

Meanwhile, another announcement to make: I have just been diagnosed with urine infection.

Not that its anything serious, but im just feeling really sick and tired of all the pain that im suffering from time to time.

After the presentation, i went to meet the rest for dinner. On the way there, i started feeling a sharp pain in my abdomen/bladder. I dont even know where these 2 areas are.

The pain got worse and until the moment when i realised i was suffering from severe pain, i decided that there was a need for me to make a trip to mum's clinic (where she was working).

Dearest accompanied me there as my mum was on leave. I took a urine test and the results revealed that im suffering from urine infection.

Finally, i have stopped taking medicine for quite a long time, but after this incident when the doctor prescribed me with some antibiotics and painkillers, i will have to be on medication...once again. Taking medicine is not a big problem to hate, but if you have experienced being on long-term medication when you have to swallow pills and tablets 2 times a day for duno how many months, you will know how i feel about being on medication.

Alrite, i shall stop being grumpy and complain so much. I should be grateful that it was nothing serious and simple medication is able to help.

Anyway, until today did i know that urine was tested using the method of liquid chromatography. The doctor showed me a litmus paper, with a few colours on it. He compared these colours with a diagram and pointed out to me the difference in one of the colours. This tells that my urine is slightly infected as the colour is different from the one at normal level. Complicated isnt it? Its ok, im confused too.

Time is getting real late. I seriously need to grab hold of some sleep. So...

Nitez all =)

One more day to freedom!

Yeah!

I hereby proudly announce that:

At long last, my group's BD ppt is done! (though the report still has a long way to go)

But its ok. We still have time. I do not wish to rush in completing it as the report is a very important component. Shall get the ppt over and done with first, so that we will be able to focus on the report.

Today: Went for school, met up with BD group mates for final struggle and caught Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian with Dearest after BD discussion.

Tmr: BD PRESENTATION!

Do not ask me why i go watching movies on the day just before the presentation. I have no idea as well.

Anyway, Narnia is awesome! Its one of the few war-related movies that i like, besides 10 000BC. I have been looking forward to it since duno how many million years ago, and finally...i was able to watch it on its first day of screening!

Super shiokness =)

I find it weird, upon realising that movies that i watched recently are not bad of a quality.
Harold and Kumar's super RA, lame and funny, Iron man's disgustingly marvellous, What Happens in Vegas was typical, yet touching (with Ashton Kutcher: acting as a lazy man, but charmingly lazy).

Indiana Jones was exciting and adventurous as well, with all the hunting for treasures and aliens. And i seriously mean aliens, who look just like what they are in my impression: Big head, egg-liked eyes, small body with long skinny limbs and a portruding tummy. I suppose the director is simply too lazy to think of a new outlook for aliens, that explains why the aliens in Indiana Jones look not at all interesting, but familiar instead.

Still, Narnia was superb. I love King Pete, my Baby Caspian and the cute little mice as well.

2 more days to FREEDOM!

I CANT WAIT!!!

STUPID BD IS DRIVING ME TO NUTS!!!

LOADS OF RESEARCH, LOADS OF ANALYSES, LOADS OF THINKING, LOADS OF TYPING, LOADS OF REPORTS, LOADS OF PRESENTATIONS & LOADS OF WORRIES!

WHICH MEANS...

LESS SLEEP, LESS FUN, LESS ENERGY, LESS BRAINS, LESS FREE TIME & MAYBE EVEN LESS MARKS (*touchwood*) !!!

CONCLUSION:

BD IS DISGUSTING TO THE MAX!!!

PS: Oh ya, did i mention that BD refers to Business Development, our final year project which is a SERIAL KILLER???

At long last, i find myself doing something contructive to this dead blog.

I believe this will be a long post of updates.

Stay tuned!

Firstly, pics taken with colleagues from ITP.

These pictures were taken on a Saturday when we went back to the office to help out with the moving.

My in-charge, Agnes and me. She is very niceeee to work with and never fails to clear my doubts (even though she is always mocking at my forgetfulness, but deep in our hearts, we know we love each other =)

This is Khim, who is as skinny as Tay Shiying. She is the world's bestest lunch mate who will bring you to all the good food around our work place. Missed the lunch times and juicy gossips with her!

Khim and I, with Clement (tallest guy), Esme and Margaret (smiling in front). Margaret happens to be an ex-SP student, and thus gossips about SP lecturers became our common topic.

We made full use of the golden opportunity to 'beautify' the walls of our old office before the entire place is going to be white-washed. The lines indicate the height of each one of us.

"Stupid Tortoise Only Can Enter", drawn by Mr Clement Leong, tallest guy in the office.

More camwhoring! This time, my boss, William and supervisor, Caroline joined in the fun as well.

That marks the end of the entire morning spent at the old office where we were supposed to supervise the movers actually.

In the afternoon, we went to the new office to unpack and set up everything. All of us were amazed by the gorgeous view from the humongous window from the office. We were even able to see Esplanade and Central mall from inside the office.

That tells you why i am always making my way to the printer as it is located just beside the window. Haha!

This is my new desk. It is small, yet very cosy. My water bottle and small mirror (given by Dear who got it during his trip to Vietnam) will always be just beside the mouse so that my hands will be able to reach them easily.

I wanted to take photos of myself with my new desk, but was always interrupted by Marimo: a nickname we gave Clement after he appeared on one day with his new haircut.

First attempt...

Second try...(this time, i am trying very hard to control my laughter)

Third one which finally succeeded!

Oh yes! Did i mention that Clement and Esme were interns as well? Before we left, our Boss held a farewell lunch for us at Swensens. After the lunch, we went back to the office and took millions of corporate photos at the reception counter, in front of our company logo.

As usual, Clement is up to no good again and everyone is beware of every action of his.

See, i told you. But still, everyone is caught off-guard by this...SCARECROW. His long hands and fingers really make him look like a scarecrow in this picture.

Finally...a niceeeeee one =)

On the last day of work, i was really surprised and touched at the same time to receive such thoughtful presents, especially those from Agnes and Clement.

The night before, i struggled and did these cards for all of them until 3 am plus, as before that, i was busy with another project which was to be submitted to Boss on the last day.

With that, attachment ended most wonderfully.

Next, was chalet at Aloha Resort with the usual peeps in school.

As usual, the guys played mahjong. (Jeremy and Shengyuan were so afraid that i will see their tiles. Her! Kiasu people.)

While the girls cam-whored.

There are more group pictures taken, but still with Shiying. I reckon there will not be any opportunity for me to upload the rest of the pics, as im just too lazy. Pardon me!

*********************************************

On the first day of school, Jaja, Yixian and me skipped the last lecture and went for SHOPPING!!!

Camwhoring in the washroom!

More shopping trips in future kies!!!

*********************************************

Last Tuesday, i met up with my ITP colleagues at Suki Sushi for dinner.

I'll just let pictures do the talking.

Gathering with them was real fun! Was updated with more really spicy gossips in the office. The dinner ended with the perm staff: Agnes, Khim and Margaret surprising us by giving us a treat. Agnes also treated me to Gelare waffles after the dinner. Love her to bits!

*****************************************

For the first time in my life, i tidied up my things on my own accord, without any reminders, any naggings, any scoldings, or even any rewards as motivation from anyone.

My pile of earrings which were all entangled up initially. But after arranging them nicely with Dearest's help, the earring are now hung nicely on the inner side of my wardobe, extremely convenient for daily use.

This method is one which Karen suggested. And it is extremely useful. Kudos to Karen!

Dearest is helping me to secure my earrings on the wardrobe's door.

Completed! This is my collection of earrings and there are over 40 of them. Do not be surprised at all as i believe the figure will continue to increase.

On another day when i was at Dearest's place after school, he made dinner for me. The dinner may be simple, but i totally appreciate his effort to make the meal as delicious as possible.

The boy is hard at work.

Thats his version of instant noodles. He will add alot of ingredients, cook the soup in his own way and go with dry noodles sauced in a different way as well. And i can tell you, the noodles were yummylicious!

That day, Dearest drove me to the station. Its his first time driving me since he got his licence in early Feb. Thus, he was abit nervous but being his passenger, i felt really safe.

Hopefully, Dearest will be able to drive me home when he gets himself familiar with the route one day. Hoho =p

************************************************

End of updates!

Its time for me to rest now!

My arms are hurting from the massive clicking and typing, as well as, gyming in today's afternoon.

Guildhouse's facilities are really shiok, and so, we decided to make full, good use of them.
I will be going to Dearest's place tmr, probably a DVD-watching day.

Off to give him a call.

Nights all =)
