I'M BACK!!!

Sad to say, its exam period now, but im not panicking at all. Everyday is still filled up with watching shows, slacking at home and of cos, shopping too!

Im meeting up with Karen and Renee tmr for New Year shopping trip. Although i have already got 2 dresses, im tinking of getting more tops, new cardigans and also a pair of heels. Haha =)

Now, lets backtrack to 11th jan (wow, really a long time ago) when a few of us celebrated Daoping's belated bdae.

That was on a Friday and i met up with Cherie and Daoping at Kovan station after i knocked off. Dear was nice to fetch me after work, accompanied me to Kovan and wait for them before leaving.

While waiting for the couple: Kamfung and Joleen to arrive, the 3 of us were chatting randomly at the bus stop. Meanwhile, Cherie took some pictures. Take a look below.

Guess who does this pair of legs belong to?

Da da da! MR LIM DAOPING!!!

I really wonder how can a guy get such a pair of long, fair and slim legs, plus without any hair at all??? Utterly jealous =(

Finally, we met Kamfung and Joleen on the bus and made our way to Chomp Chomp. Yes yes, food again. Wahahahaha!

The stingray and sotong were really yummy yum yum =P

After supper, we went for dessert at a cafe called Ice Cube, which is situated just opposite Chomp Chomp.

Just to mention, it was my first time there and i must say that i had a good experience. The wonderful ambience, delicious ice cream and all.

After placing our orders, we took out the cake which Joleen and Kamfung bought beforehand.

The birthday boy.

These are our orders, excluding the cake. The tall glass was shared by the 4 of us: Me, Cherie, Joleen and Kamfung.

The small glass was ordered by Daoping. Notice the test tube beside the ice cream? Its a small amount of liquor to be poured into the ice cream and be eaten together. Daoping had Cookies and Cream ice cream to go with Bailey's, as recommended by the staff there. I had a try and it was really nice, if you ask me.

For now, camwhoring time! All of us took pictures with the birthday boy.

Joleen and Daoping. Daoping, can you please stop acting cool, for goodness' sake?

Cherie and Daoping. Well, thats much better.

Lastly, me with the birthday boy.

The couple: Kamfung and Joleen. Sweet!

At last, group pics to end the night.

Daoping, Happy Belated 19th Bdae!!!

*****************************************************
Now, i will blog about another outing with Dear to Kbox. Let me see, it dated back to 15th Jan, if im not wrong, which was after UCCD test.

I shunned at the moment i think of UCCD. It was totally a disaster. I just hope that i will not fail the paper too badly, since it is as tough and difficult as how Dear wakes me up from my beauty sleep everyday.

Back to the Kboxing session. We went for the K Happy package which was from 2 to 7. And of cos, the 2 of us enjoyed ourselves greatly.

Sorry for the blur pics, though =(

Dear, hogging on to his mic.

Im engrossed in my own singing. Haha!

As usual, pictures of the 2 of us to end the day!

************************************************

O level results are out today. Not that it concerns me alot, but it involves my sis and decides which JC she is getting into.

So, im sort of worried as well, even though im very sure of the fact that she wont score too badly, since she is from Special stream and has always done well in her exams.

After msg-ing my sis telling her to call home after she get her results no matter good or bad, i received a call from her shortly after.

Before i could ask anything, she shouted in the phone that she got 7...yes, a freakingly amazing 7 for her L1R5! This means that after deducting her CCA points and another 2 points for Higher Chinese, she will get for herself a teeny weeny bit score of 3! Which also means that she can get into any of the top 5 JCs she like. Wow, that is just so powerful isnt it?

The night before, she was still quite worried about not getting good results, but now...not anymore.

I reckon she must be enjoying herself to the max with her friends now.

And and and, im so soooooo happy for her too! Even though im quite ashamed of the fact that her L1R5 is almost 3 times better than mine, i just feel so proud of having such a clever sister.

However, sometimes i do ponder about why our results differ so much when both of us always like to study while watching tv at the same time. From PSLE which took place a few years ago to O Levels now. It was always like that. Plus, she always slept early before her papers next day, unlike me who is the kind to burn midnight oil and yet, my results arent even half as good as hers. Haiz...this is really sad.

Forget it, seriously speaking, i only have myself to blame for.

Anyway, im really delighted at the fact that i have a capable sister and i sincerely wish that she will enter her desired JC and excel during her JC life too.

To credit her, i shall post a pretty picture of her.

My sis: Sharon, in her outfit for her graduation prom night.

The sisters. Do we look alike?

Thats all for now. Guess i will be coming back soon after tmr's shopping trip with the 2 crazy gers from Drama Club during sec sch days.

So, stay tuned!

Off to accompany my poor, injured mum with a bandaged ankle for a show. BYEEE!!!

Happy 19th Birthday Dear!!!

I know its late, cos Dear's bdae falls on 10 Jan actually. But stil, im gonna wish him happy bdae in here or else he may complain. Haha!

Last year, i planned a surprise for Dear by contacting his friends and asking them to help me bring Dear to a foodcourt in school, while i suddenly appear with a cake later to surprise him. Of cos, the surprise was a success!

This year, i wanted to create a surprise for him too. After much consideration, i emailed Dear's sis, told her of my plan and asked if she is ok with my idea. Fortunately, she was very supportive of my idea and even offered her help.

Before i explain further regarding the surprise plan, im going to show you what gift i got for Dear this year.

Dear told me he wanted a pair of new shoes. Since thats what he wanted, i met up with him on Mon after school and headed for town to shop for his shoes.

I know that some of you, after reading this entry, will want to tell me that shoes are totally not appropriate gifts for people, especially your loved ones as they signify separation. So, does it mean that as long as you didnt give ur loved ones shoes as gifts, this couple will never break up and this relationship will go on forever? Nonsense.

Since Dear's mum also find nothing wrong with giving shoes as a bdae gift, i dont see the reason why i should quit this idea. As long as Dear likes the shoes, im happy enough =)

I got to stop sidetracking and go back to the main point.

So that day, the 2 of us shopped around Cineleisure and Heeren, looking at millions of shoes before Dear decided on this:

A pair of Limited Edition shoes from Puma.

Dear has been craving for a pair of white shoes for a long time.

The sideview of the shoes.

We got the shoes not from any Puma boutiques, but Limited Edition Vault at Heeren. The products this shop sell are all limited edition. And thats why i say Dear's Puma shoes are limited edition as well, which costs $135.20 after a 20% discount.

After snapping pictures of the shoes, we went to Taka for some ice cream from Venezia.

We had 2 flavours: Tartufo and Macadamia Nut, if im not wrong.

Its dessert + camwhoring time!

Then, it was home sweet home.

**********************************************

Now, for the surprise plan.

My plan goes like this: On the actual day, after im dismissed from school, i will go buy a cake and head to Dear's place to hide immediately. This must be done before he reaches home after his last lesson which ends at 6. So, when he reaches home, i will suddenly appear with a cake to surprise him.

On top of that, i had to come up with excuses telling him that i wont be able to meet him after school as i had to go prepare something. To prevent him from being angry or suspecting something, i lied to him that i will go his house later in the night. Actually, i wil be hiding in his house by that time. Also, to make sure that he will go straight home after school, Dear's mum helped me to lie to him that there will be a dinner at home and he definitely has to come back for the dinner.

How's it? Sounds like a foolproof plan rite? But it was not so, in fact.

A day before Dear's bdae, i specially made a trip to Tiong Bahru Plaza before work to shop for any potential cakes. As I couldnt make up my mind on getting which one, i didnt order any.

The next day, i finally decided on a Chocolate ice cream cake from Angie the Choice. So after MR presentation on Thursday, Shiying accompanied me to Tiong Bahru Plaza to get the cake. Little did i expect that the cake was already reserved, so i had to go for another alternative: Chocolate Fudge cake with Cocoa Cream.

After buying the cake, i cab-ed to Dear's place as i didnt know how to get there from Tiong Bahru Plaza. Upon reaching Dear's house, his sis and mum helped me to hide my heels, bag and the cake as we didnt want the plan to fail when Dear reaches home and sees all this evidence.

Then, i stayed in the living room, watched some TV and read newspapers while Dear's mum called him a few times to check where he was.

Around 7 plus, Dear's sis estimated that he will be reaching soon anytime, so wanted me to go and hide in her room. I agreed and went to the toilet before that.

In the toilet, i didnt expect to hear Dear's voice at all. He had just reached home and there i was: Stuck on the toilet bowl, afraid of flushing the toilet bowl and turning on the tap to wash my hands, for fear that he will be alarmed.

When Dear finally went to bathe, Dear's sis beckoned me out of the toilet and the 2 of us, with Dear's mum too, immediately went to light up the candles on the cake. We had to be as fast as possible as Dear was always fast in bathing.

Just when we finish lighting up the candles and switched off the lights, Dear came out of the toilet and asked if i was here already.

He didnt see me as i quickly scurried away when i heard the toilet door opening. However, in actual fact, he had already started being suspicious while he was bathing.

So, my plan had kind of failed. But nvm, as long as Dear knows the amount of effort his mum, sis and me had put in to create this surprise, thats enough.

So, after the bdae song, we had KFC for dinner which Dear's sis ordered for us. Yummylicious!

After dinner, Dear and i surfed the net before it was cake-cutting time!

Bdae boy.

The cake shop where i got the bdae cake from: Angie the Choice. The cake was quite tasty and delicious, so i guess its still worthy of my money.

The creamy bdae cake. It looks abit messy here, with all the candles being taken out and cutting of cake.

After that, Dear showed me all the presents that he has received. More pictures ahead...

A black V-neck top from Armani Exchange, given by his aunts.

A bottle of Whiskey from Jack Daniel, given by his clique in school.

Some Body Shop products for men, given by the girls in his class.

Dear acting cute in this picture. Who told you to use my hp to camwhore? Wahahahaha!!!
Notice the Hello Kitty soft toy behind him? She looks like she is posing with Dear for a picture taken. We didnt expect at all that she will be in the picture. Its too much of a coincidence, isnt it?

Now, pictures of Dear and me again!

We are posing in front of the Chip & Dale puzzle i did for his 18th bdae last year.

That marks the end of Dear's bdae celebration.
Dear, hope you are really happy with this year's celebration and presents.

Just more or less finished editing T&D ppt.

Im exhausted already. Been sitting in front of my com for the whole day, ever since i woke up at 3 plus.

But, im stil glad that the ppt is more or less finished. Haha =)

Nothing to blog about regarding the first week of school. School is as tiring as usual. Work is as boring as usual. Haiz.

Luckily, i had Dear over at my house on Saturday. Although we practically spent the whole afternoon sleeping again, stil i enjoyed his company.

When we woke up, my Mum brought us, including my siblings and my maid to Boon Tong Kee for its famous Chicken rice as dinner again. My family has always patronized that restaurant since many years ago. Till now, Dear has been there with us for like, 4-5 times, within 2 years. That's quite alot of times, if u ask me.

After the dinner, we bus-ed home and watched some TV together before Dear left.

I always love going for dinners with my family as i get to eat alot of food, without having to worry about forking out money at all. However, no pictures were taken as im simply too lazy to snap any. Perhaps, next time ba =p

Its 12 plus now, and i seriously need to get some early sleep since the coming week will be a fully-scheduled one for me.

Monday: QM test, SMART briefing and shopping wif Dear in town to get his bdae gift.

Tuesday: Work and preparation for T&D presentation.

Wednesday: Strive hard not to be late for T&D presentation, work and preparation for MR presentation.

Thursday: MR presentation, Celebration for Dear's 19th bdae and preparation for Gems skit.

Friday: Gems skit and work at night.

Oh my...notice the 500000 presentations i have this coming week. That means i will have to be in formal wear for 3 consecutive days. Where am i supposed to find so many formal shirts for myself, when i have only 2 and i have worn them before u know???

Fortunately, Dear's sis is able to lend me 3 formal shirts (although i dont need so many, but with that, i get to choose) and Dear will be passing them to me tmr.

Hope that i will be able to fit in them nicely. Haha.
Thanks lots sis =)

Alrite, i reckon u have had enough of my ramblings. So, here i go now for some TV and then my beauty sleep.

Sweet dreams =)

Happy 2008 Everyone!!!

I cant bring myself to believe the fact that another year has passed, so fast and swiftly...

I wonder whether this year has been a smooth one for me. Well, i suppose so, except all the getting admitted into hospital for umpteen times, being involved in the accident, undergoing the operation, going for subsequent tonnes of check-ups and all.

I really hope i will not have to go through all these sufferings again this year.

Alright, now i shall update you all about my celebration for the upcoming new year.

Yesterday, i met Dear in town as i had work later on at 6pm. Upon reaching Taka, we went for lunch at Crystal Jade. As usual, there was a long queue and we had to wait. Luckily, we didnt wait for long as seats for 2 pax were not that difficult to find, i suppose.

Now, i shall let pictures do the talking.

This is the side dish we ordered. If im not wrong, its called pork dumplings, in duno wad sauce.

By the time we finished the dumplings, Dear's noodles arrived at our table.

Dear's order: La Mian with Shrimp Wontons, although he claimed that the wontons contained only pork, instead of shrimps. Dont his noodles look abit bland huh?

Despite my comment that the noodles doesnt look as tasty as expected, Dear still enjoyed his soup. Check out his expression in the picture below. Btw, dont get me wrong, i didnt ask him to pose for me at all. This is being taken unaware of him. Haha =)

Soon after, my order arrived.

Spicy and Sour Noodles. I like!

I love my noodles, and Crystal Jade too!

After the lunch, we went walking around in Taka before i headed for work, while Dear set off to meet his frens at City Hall.

As expected, sales was bad on New Year's Eve, just like Christmas Eve as well. I guess the crowd must have all been laying ambush along the streets of Orchard, shaking their spray cans and waiting for midnight eagerly so that they can start aiming at people with their spray cans like nobody's business.

Finally, i managed to persevere until Isetan closed for the day and left the place for Marina Sq as Dear and his frens were there, drinking their hearts out i tink.

On the way to Marina Sq, i thought i will be able to reach in the shortest time possible, as in the past, i was always travelling along that lonely route to go for work at Esplanade. Little did i expect that yesterday night, i had many many groups of people for company, while walking to Marina Sq.

This made my travelling time seem like forever, as i had to stop every few minutes. Everyone also started walking like penguins, moving slightly from left to right, and back to left with each step they take. Pardon me if my description is not clear enough for u to understand, as i have no idea how to provide a clearer one.

So, i realize that these people had actually all come and squeeze one another in the premises of Marina Sq and Esplanade so as not to miss the chance of admiring the beautiful fireworks. However, i rather skip this kind of gathering which makes people feel cramped, hot and stuffy. I still prefer catching midnight movies which i will elaborate later on. Haha =)

At last, i managed to meet up wif Dear and his frens. As i was famished, we went to the Foodcourt and i had a quick meal cos we were going to be late for our movie at 11.30pm.

Yes! Another midnight movie. Body #19. Wonder have all of you heard before this movie as it is a super sneak at cinemas? It will only be officially showing in SG on 10 Jan 2008.

Notice the caption on the picture above? This movie is from the Thai studio which produced my favourite horror movies like "Shutter" and "Alone". Just like these horror movies, Body #19 is scary, yet also has a captivating and interesting story line to entice and attract the audience's attention. In fact, i think that this movie added more of the 'gore' element in its scenes and all.

In all, i really enjoyed the movie even though we were late for at least 15 minutes and missed the beginning part, due to the human jam along the way from Marina Sq to station. But this shows that the movie's story line is great since im still able to enjoy it despite missing the beginning.

Im glad that Dear liked the movie too and i hope his frens have the same liking for it as well, cos they skipped admiring their fireworks and made a very last-min decision to watch the movie with us.

So if you also go for horror and gore movies with good storylines just like me, do not give Body #19 a miss ok!

And and and, i need to complain regarding something, that is, Dear keeps nagging at me for screaming loudly during scary moments in the movie. Hello, this is a horror movie rite? Of cos i will and have the need to scream my guts out when i feel frightened, regardless of the bloody monster appearing in scenes suddenly or the horrifying sound effects which complement the scenes most perfectly.

To Dear: Even though my screams do scare you, you have no choice but to endure them too. Heex =)

After the movie which ended around 1.30am, Sis gave me a call and asked if i wanted a lift from Dad. Of cos, i agreed. So Dear and i bade goodbye to his frens before leaving for home.

Yes, my home as Dear will be coming over to stay for the night.

Upon reaching my house, we took turns to bathe and change. After some tv till ard 4 sumting, we went to sleep.

Fortunately, we managed to wake up at around 10am for breakfast, as agreed the previous night. So, both of us strolled to the hawker centre downstairs, bought some youtiao and laksa for takeaway and ate at home. I realized it has been a really long time since i last ate breakfast. Of cos, i enjoyed the breakfast alot this morning.

Then, i demanded Dear to accompany me to watch the 3rd episode of It Started With A Kiss 2 at veoh.com. The show is really getting nicer. But i will have to wait for a very long time before Episode 4 shows on TV in Taiwan. Irritating =(

Time check: Its 11 plus now. And i still haven even touched one mao of T&D though the test is scheduled on this Thurs.

Alright, i must really...really go and bury my face in T&D lecture notes now.

School will be starting tmr. Hope that everything will go fine for everyone.

Also, hope that i will be able to turn in early tonight as i want to quit being late for David Cheong's class, which starts 8am tmr. Wish me luck!

Oh ya...and for T&D test too =)
