I hereby officially announce that:

I'M BACK!!!

Work at F1 Race just ended. Got to see a few unknown racers and cars. Being under the hot sun for a few hours made me develop slightly sunburnt skin for the first time. I didnt have such problems at all in the past, not even when i went suntanning in Sentosa. Now, i shall wait for the ugly different tones of skin to blend into each other.

Pictures of the Aston Martin cars seen at the circuit, taken with my lousy hp.

This was taken when Alicia and i went to the lounge for a rest and saw that the Aston Martin cars were getting ready for the race.

The driver of this car, Christian Danner came in 2nd in the Aston Martin race.

This is the car, Reckless, which came in first. Its driver is a short Japanese, K. Sasaki.

Next, the Formula BMW cars.

Alicia helped me snap the picture of these 2 racers. I suppose the cars above belong to the both of them.

Other Formula BMW cars.

On the way back to our workplace from lunch, we happened to see this driver who is supposingly test-driving his car.

Notice the young chap in the picture below? He is one of the drivers and looks really young in reality as well. Alicia said that he is definitely younger than her. But i think that's not too difficult right?

He is the driver of this orange car.

This is the bay grandstand, our workplace. And, you can spot Alicia grinning from ear to ear, standing in the middle of the grandstand.

The view from our workplace is really pretty. The Merlion and Fullerton Hotel is right in the centre of the picture.

Singapore Flyer can be seen as well.

Thats all for work at F1 Race. The day before work, Dearest and i went to Cineleisure to catch Mirrors. Its was quite ok, not as scary as what i prepared myself for. Before the movie, we had lunch at Delifrance. It has been a super long time since we ate at Deli.

Buffalo wings.

My chicken baguette set meal.

Dearest's totally enjoying his food.

Today, Dearest accompanied me for a checkup at TTSH, as my mum had work. I didnt want to ask Dearest at first as i knew he had something on. Little did i expect my mum to take things into her own hands, by calling Dearest up and ask him to bring me for the checkup. Fortunately, Dearest was sweet enough to postpone his appointment, wake up early and be there with me throughout the whole checkup.

Again, we had brunch at Delifrance. And, i finally enjoyed my chocolate eclair. Too happy for words!

After that, we proceeded to sch as Dear was meeting his lecturer and FYP team mates. While waiting for him, i entertained myself with Jumbo Word Search, my new best friend: a book of puzzles for you to spot all the given words. Quite childish i know, blame it on Alicia who kept tempting me while playing the puzzles during work. Haha! So, Dearest bought one for me at Popular. I can tell you that it is very fun and im currently seriously addicted to it.

In the evening, we went to Cathay to catch Painted Skin. Surprisingly, it was better than what i expected. I have been focussing too much on adventure and horror movies that until today, i realise that some romance movies can be very nice too.

Tomorrow, we are watching movie again and im super excited for it. Connected! Connected! Connected! Louis Koo! Louis Koo! Louis Koo! This should be the preview that we will be watching, since its only showing officially in cinemas on 1st Oct. Hope that it will be up to my expectations.

***********************************************
Last Tuesday, i attended Dearest's Dajie's wedding dinner. The night before, i made a last min decision and stayed over at Dearest's place. Next day, the family proceeded with alot of ceremonies necessary for the wedding. There was a buffet lunch as well, for Dearest's relatives who came.

The dinner at night at M Hotel was super fun and touching too. I rmb-ed there were about 3 to 4 videos and the useless me teared when each video was being played. I tried very hard to control my emotions, but i just could not help it.

So, i spent the whole time eating, laughing and tearing at the same time. But, i can say that this was the most interesting wedding dinner that i have been to. One of the videos played was simply hilarious, with the group of sisters making the groom do all sorts of stunts before he was allowed to go into the room and see the bride. I wish i had the video so that i will be able to post it here, but sadly, i do not.

During the dinner, the couple even played a simple game on stage, which was to see if the both of them had telepathy. Their love marathon which lasted for a total of 11 years helped them to give the same answers for every question.

Lots of pictures were taken throughout the day, but they are not with me. This is the only one i have, which was taken when Dear sent me home.

I will try to get hold of more photos and post them up. For now, im going to stop here and watch my show. As for the remaining holidays, i have decided to ban myself from working and enjoy as much as i can, be it just staying at home and rot the whole day. I will be more than willing to do so cause That's Life!

Till then =)
